Tommorrow is a big day for me. I will have my 9 week check-up with Dr. Kevin. I am so excited to get to see our baby again and the closer I get to the 12 week mark the more excited I become. The risk of miscarriage decreases with each week and the more real this pregnancy becomes.
I have to say that I am a little sad about my appointment. If everything goes well tommorrow then Dr. Kevn and I will have to break up. He will send me on to my very own OB and my days with him will be over. All of this makes me want to cry. I have become very attached to the staff at the Center for Reproduction. We have been through so much together over the last 2 years and I want so bad to share my preganancy with them. I want Dr. Kevin to know that he has made my dream come true. I want to thank the nurses for all the times they helped me get through a tough situation. They all cheered when we first got preganant and many of them cried when we miscarried. You should have seen all the excitement when 4 of them sat in the room with Chris and I to hear our babies heart beat for the first time.
Tommorrow will be a tough day. I can't wait to see my baby again but I am also sad to say good bye to some really great friends.
Thanks to Dr. Kevin, Dr. Meta, Dr. Nackley, Jana, Nikki, Jennifer, Meredith, Fong and Yesenia,. I will miss all of you a ton!

Cleaning out my Closet
I have spent today removing all the fall/witner clothes from my closet and replacing them with all the spring/summer stuff that has been sitting upsatirs for the last 6 months. It has taken me half a day to do this. I have realized the following today:
1. I think I may have or had a shopping problem. There are lots of things with tags still on them that I bought a least a year ago.
2. I know where all of my discrecinary spending has gone for the last 3 years.
3. How long will I actually be able to wear all of these clothes before I will need to switch to maternity stuff?
4. Since I am due in December will I be packing away all my cute winter stuff for the next 2 years? If so will I even want any of it in two years?
5. Is it worth it for me to take some of the stuff I no longer want to the resale shop?
6. Why did I buy half this crap?
7. Did I have a thing for pink and orange last year?
8. When will I relaize that there are some shoes I will just never wear again no matter how cute they are.
9. No more shopping for me for a long time.

I Heart Morning Sickness
Morning Sickness has made a daily apperance this week. I never thought I would be so happy to hug the porciline goddess every morning, but I am. To me morning sickness is just a reminder that I am still pregnant, and things are going well.
So bring it on Mother Nature I am happy to take on any terrible pregnancy symptoms you want to give me. I kinda like the little reminders that there is a finally a little baby growing inside of me.
We see Dr. Kevin next week for our final visit the fertility clinic. Then I will move on to an OB.

WOW

That is all I can say after our appointment with Dr. Kevin today. I am officially 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Today for the first time I heard the sound of my babies heart beat. It was nothing short of magical. A sound that Chris and I have waited to hear for over 3 years. It brought tears to my eyes when I realized that we are finally pregnant and the is a baby living inside of me. Dr. Kevin even got a little excited and had a big smile on his face. he told me that I am still a very high risk and need to do everything possible to take care of myself over the next few weeks. Rest being the most important part. I am just so darn happy. All I can hear in my head today is the Woosh Woosh sound of that little heart beat. It is like my favorite song, stuck in my head and I don't ever want it to go away. Today was a GREAT Day!!!
The picture above is the lovely photo I got from Dr. Kevin today. I will go back to see him in two weeks and we will look as possibly stooping the "Holy Shit Shot" of Progesterone that I take every night. My butt looks like a dart board at this point from all the injections.

Girls Weekend

I wrote this and never posted it so enjoy.....
I had great time this past weekend with all of my Grapevine Girlfriends. I can quickly sum up the weekend with this.....
108 Beers, 1 Bottle of Rum, 2 Bottles of Wine and 1 liter of Pedilyte.
That is what 4 ladies managed to consume in a 1 weekend at the lake. Six of us went but only 4 did the drinking.
We had the greatest time ever. We played games, laughed all night, rented a boat and spent some time out on the lake.
I have such an amazing connection with these women that spans over 20 years. I am looking forward to growing old with each of them.
