It is now official. I am going to be taking a leave of absence from work until I deliver the baby. I had a good appointment today with Br. Bailey. Here is the low down:
The baby and I are doing OK. Not much change form last weeks visit and that is exactly how we want it to be.
I am going to start seeing the doctor every 3-4 days until we deliver the baby. this will be split between seeing Dr. Baily and the High Risk Specialist, Dr. Peters. We will do ultrasounds and fetal monitoring every visit to determine what direction we need to go with delivery. So for now on it is 2 doctors appointments a week. Since I will be on LOA from work I'm sure I will have a little time on my hands.
Our ultimate goal is to get me to 38 weeks. I am 31 weeks today so that is not too far away. She reassured me that if were to deliver Harper right now she will be OK. May just have to spend time in the NICU but she would be able to survive so I need to not worry so much about her coming early. The goal is to deliver when the baby and I are both healthy.
That is all that happened today.
My first shower is on Sunday and I am beyond excited. I just can't wait!!

Tracy I am sorry you are going through this stress but it sounds like you are in great hands! Cannot wait to celebrate with you on Sunday!!!!
Wish I was there to walk over and keep you company. I hope you get plenty of relaxing done. Take it easy and get Harper here safe and healthy. Bummed to miss your shower!
