Working for the greatest hotel company in the world has it's advantages. For the last 4 days I have been in Phoenix at a Sales Conference for Marriott Hotels. Let me tell you.... hotel people know how to do it right. My conference has been at the JW Desert Ridge Resort and Spa. This place has been nothing short of amazing. It is a beautiful resort complete with two gorgeous golf courses and a wonderful pool that has a lazy river. If you are ever in the Phoenix area I recommend trying this resort out. Trust me you want be disappointed.
Back to the conference. When a hotel is chosen to host a conference or meeting for other hotel people it becomes a priority for the host hotel to show everyone just how fantastic their property is. This means the greatest food, incredible drinks, and amazing theme parties. That is what I have enjoyed this week. I have played golf 3 times in the last 4 days at some of the best courses in the desert. For the love of God the down comforters and pillow top mattresses here Rock! Even the water here is good. It is always has fresh fruit floating in it. Like strawberries, blackberries, oranges and even cucumbers. I never thought I would say it but I am sick of drinking every night and eating fancy food for every meal. Yes you heard me correctly.... I am ready to go home. I miss my stinky dogs, the bed that I never make, and my husband. So thank you Mr. Marriott for another great week but I am ready to get back to reality.
Gotta go to sleep so I can catch the 5am flight home!
