First OB Appointment

I had my first OB appointment on Friday with Dr. Garner. Things went well. Baby looks great. My due date is December 3, 2009. Chris is excited because not only will we finally have a baby of our own we will also be able to claim a deduction on our 2009 tax return. He makes me laugh. I loved Dr. garner but just didn't get a good feeling from his staff. Felt a little like I was at a baby factory. I guess I am just spoiled to Dr. Kevin and his staff. I think I may look around at some other OBs before I commit to Dr. Garner.

On another exciting note. Chris and I are planning a Babymoon for July. This will be our last kid free vacation and we plan to go somewhere we have always dreamed of going. I will share details once we finalize everything.

I am finally getting my energy back and the morning sickness has stopped. I have felt great the last few days and all my friends say I now have the pregnancy glow. I hope so!

I spent the day resting so that I can enjoy celebrating Amie's 30th Birthday tonight. I am so looking forward to seeing some friends and watching the crazy antics of a bunch of drunk people.

Keeping Up With the Fitz's said...

Tracy, I just adored my OB and her staff. Not only did they know me but they knew Jack like he was one of their patients too. It was a feeling like you were their only patient. It is an all-women's practice and you would deliver right at Centennial. Jody recommended her to me and then Amy Rueckert used them too and also felt they were amazing. I remember at my 6-week check after Nolan was born in tears because I was done seeing them all the time. They truly became like family to us!! THe dr. I used was Dr. McIntire at Frsico OB/GYN.
