Last night my Mom and I went to see the Fort Worth Opera's production of Cinderella at Bass Hall. It was my first time to go to the Opera and i have to say it was really cool. It was performed in Italian with subtitles in English. It was witty and wonderful and not what I expected from Cinderella. I am convinced that any performance at Bass Hall is fantastic. It think I could listen to someone read the phone book there and still be amazed by the acoustics in that place.
It was nice to have a little culture for the night and I promise it sounds a lot more fancy then it is. The only draw back iwas that it lasted 3 hours which meant that I had to pee no less than 3 times during the performance. We got home at midnight and that was just way past my bedtime. So today I am recovering from the Opera. Wow.... 23 year old Tracy is so ashamed of me right now.
