Jobs that Annoy Me

There are some jobs out there that just simply annoy me. The number 1 offender being the job that requires someone to stand at the exit at the local Costco to check your receipt as you walk out the door. For some reason I find this very annoying. I mean come on do you really think that I am going to try to steal a 46 count pack of paper towels before I walk out of Costco? Who knows maybe I will try to just walk out the door with a new 60" Plasma TV. I am sure that I would be able to escape unnoticed. Out of curiosity I asked the Costco lady "How many people have you caught stealing when you check their receipt?" Her response... "None". Wow that is a good use of labor Costco. How about you add people in the store to actually help us find things and ditch the receipt checkers. A close second to the receipt checker is the Costco greater. I mean come on do I really need to show you my top secret Costco ID card to come in the store? I can't so much as purchase a pack of bubble gum without providing it to the cashier at checkout so why waste my time by showing at the door? Last but not least is the person who stands at the exit of Best Buy. What does this person do? The girl I saw recently was about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. let me tell you if I was going to rob a Best Buy and steal all the loot inside I don't think this tiny little thing would make me think twice. I mean come on I can't go through that store with out setting off some kind of alarm every time I go there. The place is like Fort Knox. Is the little lady at the door really necessary? I would love to see the labor model these business use and what their productivity objectives are. I am all for keeping people employed but I would also like to shop at a store without feeling like a criminal every time I get ready to leave the store.

That's all I got.
